How we make money
The short version: comparing prices here is free for you, and garages don’t pay to appear.
Commission on bookings
PriceMyRepair is free to use. We make money through affiliate partnerships: when you click “Compare quotes” and go on to book a repair, MOT or service through one of our partner comparison services (such as BookMyGarage, via the Awin affiliate network), we may earn a commission. This commission is paid by the partner, not by you — it never increases the price you pay.
What we don’t do
- We don’t charge garages to appear in our estimates, and no garage can pay to be recommended.
- We don’t sell your personal data. See our privacy policy for what we store and why.
- We don’t adjust our price estimates to favour any partner. Estimates come from published garage-network data and are the same whether you click a partner link or not.
- We don’t show display advertising.
About our price estimates
Price ranges on this site and in our car checker are estimates based on published UK garage-network data, refreshed periodically. They exist to help you judge whether a quote is fair — final prices always come from the garage doing the work.
